DeeAnna graduated from Texas A&M University in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  She worked for Arthur Young, CPA’s as  an auditor from 1980 until 1985. In 1986 she began her own accounting practice as a sole proprietor, performing as a part time controller/accounting manager for various clients. She began working with Wenzel & Associates in January, 1989 on a contract basis, performing audits, reviews and compilation work. In February 2009 she joined W&A as a full-time employee and is actively involved in the audit and financial service areas of the firm.

DeeAnna has been married for over thirty years to Rick Wimberley and is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters. The Wimberley house is as divided as they come with three Aggies and two Longhorns, making college football season a time of cheers and jeers for the family. On the weekends, you can find DeeAnna at home gardening and making delicious homemade pizzas.
