Brandon Wenzel received his Master in Professional Accounting (MPA) degree with a concentration in taxation from The University of Texas at Austin. Following graduation, Brandon joined the Business Tax Services group of Deloitte Tax, LLP in their Austin, TX office, where he provided tax compliance and planning services to large corporations, closely-held businesses, and high net-worth individuals. In 2014 Brandon joined Wenzel & Associates, where he handles all aspects of tax compliance and planning for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates. Brandon also works in the area of tax controversy, advising clients on their risk exposure and providing representation before the IRS to resolve tax disputes.

Brandon is married to Michelle and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. Prior to becoming an accountant, Brandon was a licensed and practicing Civil Engineer in the San Antonio area, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Brandon loves to travel and explore new places, and in between his engineering and accounting careers spent a year living in Japan teaching English. In his free time, Brandon enjoys hiking with his family, playing basketball, and keeping up with local politics.
