Clara graduated with both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Incarnate Word in 2011. After graduation, Clara spent the next eight years working for local CPA firms, focusing on tax planning and compliance services for individuals and their businesses. She joined Wenzel & Associates in August 2019 as a senior tax professional and continues to serve individuals, their businesses and corporate clients. Clara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  Outside of the office, she is an avid reader, music fan and compassionate animal advocate.
